Key Responsibilities Include:
- Owning the delivery of high-quality product releases through reliable engineering processes and leadership.
- Collaborating with Product, Design, and AI teams to define technical priorities and translate them into actionable development plans.
- Leading engineering teams across backend, frontend, and AI infrastructure while ensuring effective cross-functional communication.
- Supporting architectural decisions and technical documentation, ensuring system scalability and maintainability.
- Overseeing CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure deployment, and release automation to ensure rapid and stable product updates.
- Participating in the technical discovery and evaluation of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to continuously improve engineering effectiveness.
- Helping resolve engineering blockers and team obstacles to ensure productivity and focus.
- Driving adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration.
- Promoting engineering standards, code quality, and performance monitoring protocols across all teams.
- Mentoring senior engineers and team leads to ensure growth, accountability, and technical alignment.
- Collaborating with leadership to align engineering goals with product vision and business objectives.
What You Bring
To excel in this role:
- Proven experience in leading software engineering teams, ideally in AI-driven or SaaS environments.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, especially microservices and cloud-native systems.
- Solid track record in managing cross-functional technical teams across product, AI, DevOps, and QA.
- Strong strategic decision-making and prioritization skills, balancing tech debt, velocity, and product needs.
- Practical experience with CI/CD practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scalable deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as C#, .NET Core, and frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
- Deep understanding of modern DevOps practices and monitoring tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, Prometheus).
- Solid knowledge of API design, RESTful services, and secure data architectures.
- A business-oriented mindset with a focus on aligning technical strategy with organizational KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for AI and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
- Experience in building scalable systems that serve high volumes of users (B2C) and/or complex enterprise solutions (B2B).
- Familiarity with performance optimization, fault tolerance, and quality assurance in software delivery.
