Your Impact

As a Catering Operations Deputy, you will play a pivotal role in leading, planning, and optimizing the entire catering service cycle, from menu design and food production to logistics and delivery operations.

  • You will oversee all catering-related processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across operations.
  • You will manage large, cross-functional teams in food production, delivery, and logistics.
  • You will act as a strategic leader, ensuring safety, hygiene, and innovation in all catering activities.
  • You will also oversee financial planning and profitability analysis within the catering division, ensuring cost control and sustainable growth.

You’ll achieve this by ensuring seamless coordination between production, logistics, and financial planning, balancing quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and supervising all catering operations across the rail service network.
  • Planning, organizing, and optimizing catering workflows to ensure efficiency and deliver exceptional service.
  • Managing food production teams, delivery operations, and logistics to ensure on-time, safe, and hygienic service.
  • Monitoring and controlling budgets, costs, and profitability for the catering division.
  • Coordinating with finance and supply chain teams to ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting.
  • Developing strategies to innovate and improve menu offerings and service models based on passenger needs.
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
  • Overseeing financial performance, budgeting, and cost-control initiatives for catering operations.
  • Driving process improvement, resource optimization, and operational innovation across departments.
  • Preparing and presenting operational reports and improvement plans to executive management.
  • Leading staff training and performance development programs to ensure high operational standards.

  • You have proven experience in food service management or catering operations, preferably in large-scale food industries.
  • You possess strong skills in leadership, organization, and problem-solving, with the skills to manage multiple teams.
  • You are experienced in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization.
  • You demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • You have excellent communication and coordination skills for managing cross-departmental functions.

  • Strong knowledge of food production standards, quality control, and hygiene regulations.
