Key responsibilities include
- Leading the company’s overall financial strategy, planning activities, and financial governance to support sustainable business growth.
- Overseeing financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and long‑ term financial planning processes.
- Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive leadership and shareholders.
- Monitoring business performance through financial analysis, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensuring accurate consolidation and analysis of financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and income statements.
- Providing strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and market insights.
- Driving capital allocation decisions, including investment planning, shareholder capital investments, and working capital optimization.
- Strengthening financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks across the organization.
- Overseeing financial systems, reporting infrastructure, and initiatives aimed at improving financial processes.
- Driving process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
- Supporting mergers, investments, and strategic initiatives through financial evaluation and due diligence processes.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and key external stakeholders.
What You Bring
To excel in this role:
- Deep knowledge of accounting, financial management, and corporate finance principles.
- Proven experience especially in fintech, lend-tech, or e-commerce sectors.
- Extensive experience in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.
- Proven experience translating financial data into strategic business insights for executive leadership.
- Experienced in ERP platforms and BI tools.
- Strong experience with financial modeling, investment evaluation, and capital management.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement approach.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven record of guiding teams effectively and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Must Have
- Proven senior‑ level management experience within the fintech industry, ideally at the C‑ level (CFO).
