About the role
HR Bamboos is hiring on behalf of a growing fintech company. We’re looking for a QA Engineer with a strong focus on manual testing to help ensure product quality and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual tests for new features and existing products
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and checklists based on product requirements
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution in collaboration with the development team
- Review product requirements and identify ambiguities and potential risks before testing begins
- Perform API testing and validate Backend service functionality
- Work closely with Product, Development, and Design teams to investigate and resolve quality issues
- Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and documentation
- Execute regression testing before releases and ensure product quality
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance
- Strong hands-on experience with Manual Testing, test case design, and test scenario development
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software development processes
- Strong skills in analyzing requirements and identifying edge cases and potential failure scenarios
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and product teams
