About the role

HR Bamboos is recruiting an Investment Manager on behalf of an investment group active in venture capital and private equity. This role will manage the full investment lifecycle—from opportunity assessment and transaction execution to portfolio monitoring, value creation, and exit planning. The successful candidate will combine strong financial and analytical capabilities with sound commercial judgment and the ability to work closely with founders, executives, investors, and boards of directors. Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and develop new investment opportunities aligned with the investment strategy.
  • Evaluate business models, markets, management teams, competitive positioning, growth potential, and investment risks.
  • Lead financial modeling, company valuation, due diligence, transaction structuring, and investment negotiations.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  • Review and negotiate term sheets, investment agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and related transaction documents.
  • Work with founders and management teams on strategy, planning, fundraising, organizational development, and performance improvement.
  • Support follow-on investments, restructurings, strategic partnerships, and exit transactions.
  • Prepare portfolio and investment performance reports for senior management and investors.
  • Guide and review the work of investment analysts and junior team members.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, strategic finance, management consulting, or a related field, including direct experience executing investment or M&A transactions.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and investment transactions.
  • Experience working with founders, senior executives, shareholders, or boards of directors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, engineering, or another relevant discipline.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, budgeting, and financial statement analysis skills.
  • Ability to assess business models, market opportunities, unit economics, and growth strategies.
  • Familiarity with investment structures and key shareholders’ agreement provisions.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple investments and priorities simultaneously.

Nice to have

  • A master’s degree, MBA, CFA, or similar professional qualification.
  • Experience with technology or high-growth businesses.
