About the role
HR Bamboos is hiring on behalf of an investment firm. We’re looking for an Investment Manager to lead the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities through deal execution, portfolio management, and value creation.
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and develop investment opportunities in line with the firm’s investment strategy.
- Assess business models, markets, management teams, competitive positioning, growth potential, and investment risks.
- Lead financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and investment negotiations.
- Prepare investment memos and present opportunities to the Investment Committee.
- Review and negotiate Term Sheets, investment agreements, Shareholders’ Agreements, and related transaction documents.
- Work closely with founders and portfolio company leadership on strategy, planning, fundraising, organizational development, and performance improvement.
- Support follow-on investments, restructuring initiatives, strategic partnerships, and exit transactions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and prepare investment and portfolio reports for senior management and investors.
- Lead and review the work of investment analysts and team members
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, Management Consulting, or a related field
- Direct experience executing investment or M&A transactions
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and investment deal structuring
- Proven experience working with founders, senior executives, shareholders, and board members
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and financial statement analysis skills
- Strong commercial and analytical skills in evaluating business models, market opportunities, unit economics, and growth strategies
- Good understanding of investment structures and key provisions in Shareholders’ Agreements
- Professional fluency in English
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong prioritization and execution skills across multiple investments
Nice to have
- A master’s degree, MBA, CFA, or similar professional qualification.
- Experience with technology or high-growth businesses.
