Your Impact
As a Chief Accountant, you will take full ownership of the company’s accounting and financial compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and supervising all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
- Managing the preparation and submission of statutory tax filings (corporate tax, VAT, payroll tax, and other legal obligations).
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
- Monitoring budget performance and ensuring proper cost control across all departments.
- Enhancing and standardizing financial processes, documentation, and accounting systems to increase efficiency and compliance.
- Managing reconciliations with financial institutions, vendors, and business partners.
- Coordinating and liaising with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory teams.
- Overseeing payroll processing, insurance, and employee benefits payments in line with current laws.
- Providing leadership, mentoring, and performance management for the finance team.
What You Bring
To excel in this role:
- Proven experience as Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant, or equivalent leadership role in finance, ideally within fintech, banking, or high-compliance industries.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and local GAAP.
- Expertise in tax compliance, VAT, corporate tax, and payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in financial systems, accounting software, and ERP platforms.
- Skilled in budget management, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Track record of process optimization and implementing internal controls.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and skilled in working under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Experience in working with regulatory reporting systems.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to financial and operational challenges.
