Key Responsibilities Include:
- Automating and maintaining the infrastructure that powers the services.
- Building and refining CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, reliable deployments.
- Leading the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of DevOps tools and infrastructure.
- Implementing and managing monitoring systems, backups, and incident responses.
- Collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable delivery pipelines.
- Overseeing adherence to release policies, standards, and security requirements.
- Being involved in infrastructure performance tuning and systems troubleshooting.
- Migrating and upgrading infrastructure components with minimal disruption.
- Contributing to the ongoing stability, support, and performance optimization of production environments.
To excel in this role:
- You are skilled in Linux, kernel management, and file systems to maintain a stable infrastructure.
- You have proven experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab-CI) to streamline code delivery.
- You are familiar with message queues and data pipelines like RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, and InfluxDB.
- You demonstrate strong skills in virtualization and cloud technologies to manage scalable environments.
- You possess scripting expertise in Python or Bash to automate and optimize operations.
- You demonstrate excellent capabilities with configuration management tools like Ansible.
- You are experienced in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.) to ensure data resilience and availability.
- You have deep knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), including live project experience.
- You have hands-on experience with source control systems like Git.
- You are confident working with HAProxy, SSL/TLS, and web servers (Nginx) for load balancing and secure communications.
- You are familiar with networking, TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls (pfSense, MikroTik, etc.) to secure and manage connectivity.
- You have knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and can identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
- Experience with Directory Services (FreeIPA, OpenLDAP, Microsoft AD) and Mail Server components is a plus.
