Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing ~20 engineers across 6 teams, ensuring alignment, productivity, and professional development.
- Leading recruitment, onboarding, and growth initiatives to build a strong engineering talent pipeline.
- Acting as the main liaison between engineering teams and clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
- Identifying risks in project timelines, resources, or technology, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with People & Culture teams on hiring, performance evaluations, and training programs.
- Conducting coaching sessions and workshops on communication, time management, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
- Driving adoption of software engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration.
- Tracking and reporting key performance metrics to leadership and clients.
What You Bring

- You are fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to confidently interact with global clients and stakeholders.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with skills in managing multiple teams, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- You bring proven software engineering experience and have held an engineering leadership or managerial role overseeing multiple teams.
- You have strong technical expertise in software engineering principles, SDLC, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), allowing you to guide teams toward engineering excellence.
- You are skilled at identifying project risks, developing mitigation strategies, and keeping teams on track to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal disruptions.
- You have proven experience in hiring, onboarding, and scaling engineering teams, as well as designing career growth and performance evaluation frameworks.
- You demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, inspiring and motivating engineers while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- You are experienced in mentoring engineers on soft skills, including communication, conflict resolution, and time management, preparing them for future leadership roles.
- You are a reliable, accountable professional who follows through on commitments and builds trust with both internal teams and clients.
- You possess strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, asking the right questions to drive informed decisions and innovation.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
