Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Overseeing budgeting processes, forecasting models, and financial performance analysis across the company.
- Managing cost accounting processes using methods like standard costing and inventory valuation techniques (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, weighted average) to ensure accuracy.
- Ensuring full compliance with tax regulations, VAT, statutory reporting, and the Modian (Taxpayers) System.
- Managing working capital, including receivables, payables, treasury operations, and bank reconciliations.
- Collaborating with production and inventory teams to ensure cost optimization and accurate cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Reviewing the financial implications of pricing, promotions, and procurement decisions.
- Driving ERP optimization and ensuring seamless integration of financial modules.
- Mentoring and developing the finance and accounting team to improve performance and ensure business continuity.
- Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies for successful financial audits.
What You Bring
To excel in this role:
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the manufacturing or apparel industries.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and industrial financial practices.
- You are proficient in ERP systems such as Rahkaran or similar, and have advanced Excel skills.
- You bring proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- You demonstrate a strong command of tax laws, VAT, payroll, and compliance processes.
- You are skilled in leading cross-functional financial reviews and reporting to senior management.
- You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of identifying financial inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
- You are a strong communicator, able to present complex financial data in a clear, actionable format.
- You bring strategic thinking and business acumen to align financial goals with organizational strategy.
- You are experienced in cash flow management and banking operations.
