In this role, success means creating smooth, fast, and responsive user interfaces, taking ownership of feature development, and ensuring the highest quality code through best practices and test-driven development. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the design and implementation of React-based features to enhance the platform’s user experience.
- Implementing performance optimizations and UI/UX enhancements to ensure fast load times and responsive interfaces.
- Supporting the design team by translating wireframes and prototypes into functional, pixel-perfect components.
- Overseeing code reviews and technical decisions to uphold code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Involving yourself in early-stage feature planning to contribute technical insight during the ideation phase.
- Collaborating with product managers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across all devices and browsers.
- Proactively identifying areas of improvement in existing applications and driving refactor efforts.
What You Bring
To excel in this role:
- You are skilled in using React to build complex, interactive UIs that serve real-time, data-driven needs.
- You have proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale front-end applications with TypeScript or modern JavaScript.
- You demonstrate strong skills in debugging, performance tuning, and writing unit/integration tests to ensure long-term maintainability.
- You possess a deep understanding of RESTful APIs and have experience working closely with backend teams to align interface and data flow.
- You have experience writing tests at various layers, maintaining low complexity, and ensuring quick execution.
- You possess a solid understanding of software development fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and storage solutions, either through a computer science degree or relevant work experience.
- You are hands-on and take initiative, eager to jump into problems and solve them with a practical, proactive mindset.
- You possess excellent collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, from back-end developers to product managers, bringing ideas to life and creating intuitive, fast-rendering UIs that delight the users.
