As a Deputy COO (Technical), you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing the company’s technical operations, ensuring excellence in engineering, maintenance, and project management.
- You will oversee strategic technical initiatives and align operational processes with company objectives.
- You will lead cross-functional technical teams with a strong focus on maintenance excellence, reliability engineering, and asset optimization.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and evaluating the performance of technical managers and engineers across maintenance and project divisions.
- Developing and executing strategic, technical, and operational plans aligned with company goals.
- Implementing technical standards and safety protocols across engineering operations.
- Overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, repair processes, and technical standards to ensure asset reliability and optimal utilization.
- Managing large-scale engineering projects with a focus on time, cost, and quality.
- Analyzing technical data to identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement.
- Overseeing training and skill development programs for technical teams.
- Providing comprehensive performance and progress reports directly to the CEO.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical, operational, and strategic goals.
What You Bring
To excel in this role:
- You have proven experience in senior technical management within the railway, automotive, or other heavy industries.
- You have deep knowledge of maintenance engineering (PM, PdM) and process optimization.
- You are experienced with maintenance management systems (MMS) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
- You are skilled in project management, budgeting, and technical resource planning.
- You demonstrate analytical problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
- You have strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
