About the role
HR Bamboos is hiring on behalf of a leading technology company. We're looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Architect to design and evolve the cloud infrastructure and platform that the company's products run on, and to set the standards for reliability, scalability and security.
Responsibilities
- Design and own the architecture of the cloud platform and core infrastructure
- Define standards for scalability, reliability, security and cost efficiency
- Lead infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and automation practices
- Guide engineering teams on cloud-native design and best practices
- Improve observability, performance and incident response
- Evaluate and introduce new platform tools and technologies
Requirements
- 7+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering, incl. a senior/architect role
- Deep experience with a major cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Strong command of Kubernetes, Docker and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Solid understanding of networking, security and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD and observability tooling
- Excellent design, communication and mentoring skills
Nice to have
- Experience running platforms at scale
- Familiarity with service mesh and multi-cloud
- Relevant cloud certifications
