About the role
HR Bamboos is hiring on behalf of a leading Advertising & Media company. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will leverage their technical expertise to build high-quality software products and contribute to the growth and evolution of the company's platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, highly available software systems
- Build and optimize backend services and distributed architectures
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and reliability
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and infrastructure teams
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor other engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and scalable system design
- Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin
- Strong experience with Spring Framework
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Good understanding of observability concepts (Metrics, Logging, and Tracing)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, and a continuous learning mindset
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Experience with Cassandra, Apache Druid, or other data processing technologies
- Experience designing Microservices architectures
