About the role
HR Bamboos is hiring on behalf of a company operating in the trading industry. We are looking for a Head of Management Accounting to lead the management accounting function, provide reliable financial insights, and support strategic decision-making through high-quality financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Prepare and analyze management reports and financial performance dashboards
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and conduct variance analysis
- Analyze profitability, gross margins, and business performance across operations
- Partner closely with commercial, sales, and finance teams to improve financial performance and cost efficiency
- Develop financial models and decision-support analyses for senior leadership
- Enhance management reporting processes and financial control frameworks
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in management accounting, financial controlling, or FP&A
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
- Experience preparing management reports and variance analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in trading businesses
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI
- Knowledge of IFRS
