Treasury Accounting Manager

HR Bamboos is hiring on behalf of a company operating in the international trade sector for a Treasury Manager. We’re looking for a financially skilled and detail-oriented professional to manage the company’s treasury operations, optimize liquidity, and ensure effective cash-flow management across its trading activities.
This role combines cash and liquidity management, banking operations, foreign currency transactions, and financial risk control. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of funds for business operations, optimizing the use of financial resources, managing banking relationships, and coordinating domestic and international payments to support the company’s import and trade activities.

• Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, fund allocation, bank transfers, and payment execution across domestic and international accounts.
• Monitor and forecast cash-flow requirements to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational expenses, import payments, and other financial commitments.
• Develop and maintain short-term and medium-term cash-flow forecasts, identifying potential funding gaps and recommending appropriate actions.
• Manage foreign currency transactions and coordinate currency requirements for international trade payments, while monitoring foreign exchange exposure and related risks.
• Maintain and develop relationships with banks and financial institutions to facilitate payments, manage banking facilities, and improve access to financial services.
• Coordinate payment schedules with procurement, import, sales, and finance teams to ensure timely settlement of supplier obligations and efficient use of available funds.
• Monitor bank balances, reconcile treasury records with bank statements, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of treasury transactions.
• Support the management of trade finance activities, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, documentary collections, and other relevant banking instruments, where applicable.
• Monitor banking fees, financing costs, and foreign exchange expenses, identifying opportunities to improve treasury efficiency and reduce financial costs.
• Establish and maintain treasury policies, internal controls, approval procedures, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and safeguard company funds.
• Prepare regular treasury reports covering cash positions, liquidity forecasts, payment status, foreign currency exposure, and banking activities for management review.
• Ensure compliance with applicable banking regulations, internal financial policies, and relevant requirements governing domestic and international transactions.

• 8+ years of professional experience in treasury, cash management, corporate finance, or related financial roles.
• Proven experience managing daily treasury operations, cash-flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and domestic and international payments.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, bank reconciliation, payment processes, and corporate banking services.
• Hands-on experience with foreign currency transactions and managing payment requirements in an international trade or import-driven business environment.
• Good knowledge of trade finance instruments, such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections.
• Strong understanding of liquidity risk, foreign exchange exposure, financing costs, and financial controls.
• Experience working with banks and financial institutions to manage payment arrangements, banking facilities, and financing requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple payment deadlines and financial priorities simultaneously.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability when handling confidential financial information and company funds.
