About the role

We are looking for an HR Manager to lead human resources operations for a manufacturing company. This role works closely with plant leadership, production supervisors, and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR plans aligned with the plant’s operational objectives
  • Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning and production staffing requirements
  • Manage recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding processes
  • Oversee employee records, contracts, attendance, personnel changes, and HR administration
  • Manage employee relations and address workplace concerns, grievances, and conflicts
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations, social security requirements, and internal policies
  • Manage performance evaluation processes and support employee performance improvement
  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee and leadership development programs
  • Develop employee-retention, engagement, and succession-planning initiatives
  • Advise managers and supervisors on employee matters, performance, and disciplinary processes
  • Partner with the HSE team to strengthen workplace safety culture and compliance
  • Monitor workforce metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, productivity, and engagement
  • Prepare HR reports and provide actionable recommendations to management
  • Lead and develop the HR team and maintain consistent service quality

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional HR experience, including experience in a management role
  • Previous HR experience within a manufacturing, plant, or operations-based environment
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of labor regulations, social security requirements, and employee relations
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, performance management, training, and employee relations
  • A clear understanding of plant workforce structures and the needs of operational and office employees
  • Strong HR metrics analysis and management-reporting skills
  • Familiarity with HRIS, attendance systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong consultation and communication skills across leadership, supervisors, and employees
  • Strong conflict-resolution, trust-building, and sensitive-conversation management skills
