Managing Director (Mobile)

HR Bamboos is seeking a Managing Director on behalf of a fast-growing company in the mobile phone trading and import industry. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Iran’s mobile phone market to lead business operations, drive growth, oversee supply chain and import activities, and achieve the company’s commercial objectives.

• Identify new market opportunities and build long-term business relationships.
• Define and execute business strategies focused on growth and increasing market share.
• Develop and manage relationships with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs clearance agents, and domestic distribution networks.
• Oversee Sales, Commercial, Finance, and Operations functions, ensuring effective coordination across teams.
• Manage the company’s budget, cash flow, working capital, and profitability.
• Analyze mobile market trends, pricing fluctuations, foreign exchange rates, and competitive conditions to support informed business decisions.
• Set performance targets and evaluate the results of different departments to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives.

• Proven managerial experience in trading companies, particularly in mobile phone import and distribution in Iran.
• In-depth knowledge of Iran’s mobile phone market, major brands, pricing structures, and distribution networks.
• Hands-on experience with import procedures, product sourcing, international trade negotiations, and customs clearance.
• Strong negotiation, business development, and supplier and key partner management skills.
• Strong market analysis and strategic decision-making skills, particularly in response to changing economic conditions and foreign exchange fluctuations.
• Experience in business strategy development, operations management, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cash flow management, working capital, and profitability analysis.
• Knowledge of trade laws and regulations and the legal requirements governing mobile phone imports into Iran.

• Direct experience working with international mobile phone suppliers and wholesale distribution networks.
• A track record of business development and market share growth in the mobile phone and consumer electronics industries.
• Experience managing trading companies with high transaction volumes and substantial working capital.
• Proficiency in English for international business negotiations and correspondence.
